Norwegian Intelligence Arrest American White Supremacist Greg Johnson
Norwegian authorities over the weekend arrested Greg Johnson, the American editor-in-chief of white nationalist Counter-Currents Publishing, hours before he was set to deliver remarks at a Far-Right Conference.
CNN reports Johnson was arrested Saturday before his scheduled speech at the Scandza Forum in Oslo. The network is known for its anti-Semitic and racist viewpoints.
Martin Bernsen of Norway's Intelligence Service said Johnson was considered ...
“to be a threat, not because of what he could do but because of his hate speech and his previously expressed support for Anders Breivik,"
Breivik was the right-wing terrorist who killed 77 people, including dozens of young people, in a shooting at a youth camp on Utoya and a bombing in Oslo in 2011.
Norway is attempting to deport Johnson "as quickly as possible to get him out of the country" Bernsen added.
